Soco Apartments

‘Soco’ is a quaint collection of only 4 luxury residential apartments on a modest sized site in central Noosa Junction. A very steep site with a 3 storey height limit, and restrictive plot ratio under the local planning scheme were the greatest constraints.

The result is a building that could pass as an individual home as it presents to the street, with large balconies which capture some noteworthy aspect back to the hinterland. There is a plunge pool in the front setback area seamlessly integrated within the landscape, and a car turntable in the ‘basement’ level which assists with the efficiency of parking on site.  Beautiful natural stone walling is used both outside and inside the apartments for some added luxury in the palette, with curved corner details to soften the built form and create a simple but elegant composition.
